21 For the land used as location nof large building or edifice with the total area of the building of all floors of more than 30,000 square meters shall have one side of the land with the length of not less than 12.00 meters connected with the public road with the wide line of not less than 18.00 meters connected to the public road with the width of not less than 18.00 meters. The land at the side connected to the public road shall be of not less than 12.00 meters wide to the area of the location of the building, and such land shall be empty space to be used as exit and entrance of the fire-extinguishing vehicle conveniently. 22 The large building or edifice shall be provided with the road with road surface of not less than 6.00 meters that is without coverings around the building so tht the fire-extinguishing vehicle could enter or exit conveniently. [1],[2],[3],[4],[5],[13]

30 The warehouse bulding that is in the Industrial Estate zone which is established under the specification of law on the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, with the side that is connected to the land outside the area of the Industrial Estate which is established under the law on the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, shall have distance far from the land used for building construction of not less than 10 meters. 31 The factory bulding that is in the Industrial Estate zone which is established under the specification of law on the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, with the side that is connected to the land outside the area of the Industrial Estate which is established under the law on the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, shall have distance far from the land used for building construction of not less than 10 meters. 33 The main strucutrte which is pole constructed by steel with the structure appearance, where concrete is not used to cover by other method in order to have fire resistance rate of not less than 3 hours, and shall have certificate on the fire-resistance rate from the reliable institute together with the application for permission. 34 The roof structure of the building that is constructed by the steel, with the structure appearance, where concrete is not used to cover, if such building is the one-floor building,the roof structure shall have fire-resistnace rate of not less than 1 hour, and if it is the building with two or more floors, the roof structure shall have fire resistance rate of not less than 2 horus, and shall have certificate on the fire-resistance rate from the reliable institute together with the application for permission. 35 The roof structure of the building in the following cases shall have fire resistance rate as specified by law including (1) it is the roof structure of the building with the total area in all floors in one building of not more than 1,000 square meters except for entertainment hall, medical center or meeting hall; (2) it is the roof structure of the building which is higher from the building floor of more than 8 meters and such building shall have automatic extinguishing system or heat prevention or heat cooling system that does not cause danger to the roof structure. 37 The construction of the building in the land of the same owner, the wall of the building with window, door, air ventilation channel, or light channel or balcony shall have distance far from other building at the side with window, door, air ventilation channel, or light channel or balcony. 42 The inspection of design work and the calculation of various parts of the building structure shall be done by the authorized to be the one who has profession in civil engineer under the specification of law on engineering and the inspector as mentioned shall not do the inspection of the work done by such engineer’s spouse or representative. 43 The inspection of design work and the calculation of various parts of the building structure shall be done by the inspector to inspect drawing and calculations on part that is concerned with building structure by taking criteria and standard into consideration a specified by law. 44 The law specifies other constructions built as building under the specification of law on building control include: tank with the capacity of more than 100 cubic meters, (2) swimming pool outside the buildignwith the capacity of more than 100 cubic metes, (3) wall separating soil or water shall bel able to support pressure of soil or water at the height of 1.50 meters or over, (4) structure used for receiving and sending raido or television with the height form base of the structure of 10 meters or more and shall have total weight of 40 kilograms or over, (5) other constructions besides (1), (2), (3) and (4) with the height from the base of 10 meters or more. 46 In designing building structure, the person in charge of calculation and design shall take geometric pattern into consideration to be stable and resist the vibration of earthquake in order to prevent disaster completely, the detemiantion of details of parts of structure and the connected area between the end part of various structures, and the arrangement of the entire structure to have ductility of equal to limited ductibility under standard of the design under the Department of the Public Works and Town and Country Planning, or standard on design to support vibration of earthquake as calculated by the Council of Engineers and under Building Control Act B.E. 2522 (1979). 47 The calculation and the design of the structure of the building with irregular shape or other building structures and is not in the monitoring zone, the person in chrge shall be given license as professional supervising engineer of ordinary engineer level or over, and th ecalcualtion shall be done in the way that can support vibration of earthquake by using dynamics principle. 48 For the calculation and the design of the structure of the building which is characterized by house building, or other similar constructions and is not in the monitoring zone, the person in charge of calculation and design shall make it to be able to support vibration of earthquake by calculating shear force. 49 The law specifies that there shall be facilities for the disable and the elderly as specified in the Ministerial Regulation in the area opened for service to the public in the following buildings (1) hospital, medical center, public health care center, health care station, office building of the government or state enterprise, government organization established under the law, educational institute, library and government museum, mass transportation station such as airport, railway station, pier station with the area opened for service to the public for more than 300 square meters; and (2) office, entertainment hall, hotel, meeting hall, sports stadium, department stores with the area of any part of the building opened for service to the public for more than 2,000 square meters. 44 The law specifies other constructions built as building under the specification of law on building control include: tank with the capacity of more than 100 cubic meters, (2) swimming pool outside the buildignwith the capacity of more than 100 cubic metes, (3) wall separating soil or water shall bel able to support pressure of soil or water at the height of 1.50 meters or over, (4) structure used for receiving and sending raido or television with the height form base of the structure of 10 meters or more and shall have total weight of 40 kilograms or over, (5) other constructions besides (1), (2), (3) and (4) with the height from the base of 10 meters or more. 47 The calculation and the design of the structure of the building with irregular shape or other building structures and is not in the monitoring zone, the person in chrge shall be given license as professional supervising engineer of ordinary engineer level or over, and th ecalcualtion shall be done in the way that can support vibration of earthquake by using dynamics principle. 48 For the calculation and the design of the structure of the building which is characterized by house building, or other similar constructions and is not in the monitoring zone, the person in charge of calculation and design shall make it to be able to support vibration of earthquake by calculating shear force.
