placement of skilled craftsman and the expert (IEAT 17-1 AND 17-2)
Details
Rules for consideration
The permission on the position and period of time of the skilled craftsman and the expert and the placement
1. The applicant shall be the industrial entrepreneur and the commercial entrepreneur who is permitted to use land for business undertaking in the Industrial Estate
2. Examine the details in the application for permission to see whether such application is complete and correct or not
3. Examine the supporting documents to see whether they are complete and correct or not
4. Examine the signature to see whether it is the signature of the authorized to sign to bind the company under the Juristic Person Registration Certificate and/ or Power of Attorney or not
5. Consider under the rules of consideration for permission in position and period of time of the alien skilled craftsman and the alien expert in entering into and working in the Industrial Estate
6. Examine the position requested for approval to see that whether it is inconsistent with the Alien business Act B.E. 2551 (2008) or not
According to the List attached with the Royal Decree specifying the work in profession and career that alien is forbidden to do B.E. 2522 (1979)
7. In case that it is inconsistent with the rules in permission on the position and period of time of the alien skilled craftsman and the alien expert in entering into and working in the Industrial Estate, the matter shall be presented to the Sub-Committee for consideration within 30 days, by preparing the matters, documents, supporting documents, into the agenda of the Sub-Committee Meeting for consideration
8. Examine the qualifications of the person who requests for placement to see whether such person is completely qualified or not, by checking from the copy of Visa of the skilled craftsman and the expert that must be Non-Immigrant Visa with the code of B or EX, and the remaining period of time of Visa shall not be less than 6 months
9. Examine the copy of educational degree; if it is in other languages, it shall be translated into Thai or English and the embassy of the permission grantor in Thailand shall certify correct translation
10. Examine the Employment Certificate; if it is in other languages, it shall be translated into Thai or English and the embassy of the permission grantor in Thailand shall certify correct translation
11. Consider on the educational degree and working experience to see that whether it is consistent and appropriate with the position requested for approval or not (In case that the educational degree is not consistent with the job characteristics, then there must be working experience of not less than 3 years related to the position requested for approval; in some case, the consideration would be done under the job characteristics, necessity, and appropriateness of the business)
